Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

The Sporting Archive, LLC (“The Sporting Archive,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through TheSportingArchive.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you contact us or start an archive, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, the pursuit (hunting, fishing, or both), the edition you are interested in, and the story you choose to share. If you commission a piece, we may also receive photographs, trip details, and shipping information.

Like most websites, our site host (Squarespace) automatically collects basic technical information, such as browser type, device, pages visited, and general location, through cookies and similar tools. This helps us understand how the site is used and keep it working properly.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, design and produce your commission, communicate with you about your order, and, if you opt in, send occasional news and updates. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS AND STORIES

The photographs and stories you send us are used to create your piece. We will never feature your images, your story, or your name on our website, social media, or marketing materials without your written permission.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We share information only with trusted partners who help us run the business, such as our website host, payment processor, printers, framers, and shipping carriers, and only as needed to complete your order. We may also disclose information if required by law.

If you check “Sign up for news and updates,” we will occasionally send you news from The Sporting Archive. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.

COOKIES

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
